Alocasia gageana 'Albo' is a white-variegated colour break of the compact, narrow-leaved gageana species, carrying crisp white sectoral patches across the same glossy lance-shaped blade as the plain green form. Alongside the more established golden 'Aurea' form, it gives this otherwise understated species a genuine variegated collector following, though stable, well-patterned specimens remain considerably harder to find than the Aurea break. Care follows the same compact clumping profile as the species, with slightly higher light needed to keep the white sectors from scorching or the plant from reverting to green.
