Rather than the bold white sectors of an Albo form, Frozen Freckles carries an irregular scatter of creamy white and pale-yellow speckling and marbling across the same narrow, deeply fenestrated leaves that make adansonii a collector favourite. It has moved quickly through UK and European retailers since registration. As with most new cultivars, expect the price to ease once wider tissue-culture supply catches up.

Chunky, well-draining aroid mix: 40% potting compost, 30% perlite, 20% orchid bark, 10% worm castings.
Water when the top 3-4 cm of substrate is dry. Variegated tissue photosynthesises less efficiently, so err on the drier side rather than the constantly-moist regime a plain-green adansonii tolerates.
60-80% preferred. Lower humidity is tolerated once established but slows growth and can flatten leaf fenestration.
Balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength every 2 weeks in spring and summer. Reduce variegated plants to a lighter feed than plain-green siblings. Heavy feeding tends to push reversion toward more green tissue.
