About

Alocasia stingray, commonly known as the Stingray Elephant Ear, is a highly unusual cultivar prized for its leaf morphology. The leaves are roundish-shield-shaped at the base, but dramatically and suddenly contract into a very long, thin whip-like tail that points upwards, strongly resembling a marine stingray. The leaves are glossy green and grow on slender petioles that are often green or show dark mottled bands.
