Alocasia baginda 'Dragon Scale' is an incredibly popular jewel Alocasia cultivar known for its spectacular leaf texture. The species is endemic to Borneo, typically growing on limestone formations. The leaves are thick, stiff, and leathery, displaying a light silvery-green upper surface with deeply recessed dark green-black primary and secondary veins that resemble mythical dragon scales. The undersides of the leaves are a pale green-cream, heavily detailed with deep maroon-red veins.
