Monstera dubia 'Albo' is the white-variegated colour break of the famous shingle plant, layering crisp white sectoral patches onto the small, overlapping juvenile leaves that press flat against a support in dubia's signature tiled display. Because juvenile dubia leaves are already small and thin, white sectoring can remove a substantial proportion of a leaf's chlorophyll-producing tissue, making growth noticeably slower than the plain species and demanding careful light management to avoid stalling the plant entirely. It shares the same shingling growth habit and eventual transition to large fenestrated adult leaves as the species, though few variegated specimens are grown on long enough to reach that adult stage.

Chunky, well-draining mix: 40% potting compost, 30% perlite, 20% orchid bark, 10% worm castings. Monsteras are more tolerant of moisture than most aroids but still need drainage.
