About

Alocasia odora, commonly known as the Night-scented Lily or Upright Elephant Ear, is a widely grown species native to East and Southeast Asia. It is popular for its large, broadly ovate, light-to-medium green leaves that face upwards with slightly wavy margins. The leaves grow on thick, fleshy green petioles that arise from a stout stem base. It gets its species name from its fragrant pale green or yellow spathe flowers that release a sweet scent, especially at night.
