About
Alocasia tandurusa, widely known in the collector community as Alocasia Jacklyn, is a spectacular species endemic to Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is celebrated for its highly architectural, deeply lobed arrow-shaped leaves that showcase a rich, neon-green blade surface contrasted against stark dark green or brown veins. A fascinating feature is the distinct fuzzy, hair-like texture (trichomes) covering the leaf surface, which sets it apart from almost all other Alocasias. Its petioles are also highly decorative, exhibiting brown and cream zebra-like mottling.
