Michelle comes out of the well-regarded Doc Block breeding program, prized for emergent new leaves in a deep purple-red that carry bold, glowing silver-white primary veins in sharp contrast against the dark surface. As leaves mature the purple-red tone deepens further, giving mature plants a moody, almost gothic presence that's distinct from the more classically green-and-silver velvet Anthurium types. Like most velvet-leaf hybrids of this style, it wants stable warmth, high humidity, and is slow enough growing to reward patient collectors rather than casual buyers.
