About
Alocasia robusta, known as the Giant Bornean Elephant Ear, is a legendary species endemic to the island of Borneo. It holds the record for producing the largest undivided leaves of any herbaceous plant in the world, with leaves occasionally reaching several meters in length in the wild. The leaves are peltate-sagittate, held strongly upright, and exhibit a gorgeous, chalky glaucous bluish-green matte surface supported by incredibly thick, fleshy green petioles.
