Before you buy
- Check both sides of the leaf: the upper surface should be matte dark forest-green with silver-green veins, while the underside should be deep maroon-red; a plain green underside suggests a different plant
- No recorded market price exists for this species yet; treat any quoted price as the seller's own estimate
- Confirm the leaf shape is sagittate-cordate (arrow/heart-shaped) with a velvety, thick, paper-like texture consistent with the described form
- As a dwarf, slow-to-moderate growing understory species, expect gradual size increase rather than fast establishment
