Alocasia heterophylla is a highly exquisite dwarf jewel Alocasia species endemic to the Philippines. It is naturally found growing on limestone karst formations. The species is characterized by its long, very narrow, lanceolate-sagittate (shield-like) leaves. The leaf blades display a striking, metallic blue-grey or silver-green upper surface with thin, dark green primary veins, supported by slender green petioles.
