About Philodendron gloriosum André.

Philodendron gloriosum is a terrestrial species native to the tropical forests of Colombia, where it grows as a floor-creeping plant. Unlike many of its climbing relatives, it develops a thick, horizontal rhizome that spreads across the forest floor, rooting at each node into organic-rich substrate. Its heart-shaped, velvety leaves have pale contrasting venation. It does best in conditions that mimic its natural, high-humidity shaded understory habitat.
