About

Amydrium zippelianum is a climbing aroid liana native to the lowland and lower montane rainforests of Central Malesia to New Guinea. It climbs vigorously up trees, attaching securely to bark with aerial roots. The mature leaves are highly distinct, being deeply pinnatifid into numerous long, narrow, hanging divisions, giving the plant a palm-like or dissected silhouette. The foliage is elongated, glossy green, and elegant, making it a highly decorative and unusual specimen for collector collections.

How prices are calculated: The AA Price uses verified eBay UK completed auction data — we take the trimmed mean (removing the top and bottom 20% of prices) to produce a fair-value guide. When recent auction data is unavailable, the AA Price falls back to the current UK retail average. All prices are in GBP and updated automatically.
