Anthurium 'Qori' Morphology
About Anthurium 'Qori'
Anthurium 'Qori' crosses the elongated, pendent strap-leaf habit of Anthurium pallidiflorum with the dense velvet texture and striking silvery-white venation of Anthurium warocqueanum 'Esmeralda'. The result is a long, narrow, velvety leaf that reads as a genuinely intermediate form between its two parents — more substance and colour than pallidiflorum alone, more manageable length than a mature warocqueanum. It is one of only a handful of named crosses built directly onto warocqueanum lineage with confirmed parentage, which keeps it firmly in the rare, high-interest tier of the market.

Gold, Loosely Translated
Ecuagenera's warocqueanum-lineage crosses tend to arrive in the trade with clearer breeding records than most velvet-leaf hybrids, and Qori is no exception — pallidiflorum on one side, the 'Esmeralda' form of warocqueanum on the other, both well-established parents in their own right. The pendent, elongated habit makes it a slightly awkward specimen for a tight cabinet, but the payoff is a velvet leaf with real length to it, which few crosses in this category manage without losing texture along the way.
