About Begonia 'Curly Fireflush'
Curly Fireflush grows from an upright rhizome into large, distinctively spiral-shaped green leaves with a dark red-bronze centre and margin. The tightly curled leaf form is unusual even among rhizomatous begonias, and mature plants produce fragrant, pale pink flowers.

Before you buy
- Confirm the leaves show the tight spiral/curl described for this cultivar; a flatter or only mildly wavy leaf suggests a weak specimen or a different plant
- Check that the dark red-bronze colouring sits at the leaf centre and margin against a green mid-zone, not washed evenly across the whole blade
- Ask whether the rhizome is upright rather than creeping: this cultivar's stated growth habit is upright rhizomatous, not a low spreading form
- This species prefers bright indirect light with no direct sun; check for scorch or bleaching on the reddish margin if the plant has been kept in strong light
- No tracked median price yet for this cultivar, so treat a listed asking price as one seller's figure rather than a verified market rate
